Attaching VARs to discussions?

I just noticed that it is not possible to attach a VAR file to a discussion here on the Hub. Various other VaM filetypes are allowed, but no VARs. Is this intentional or some oversight?

I'm looking for some plugins or scenes that can control character poses with just a few atoms. Anyone have anything similar?

Yes, this is a recent change, and is by design. See this thread for more details.

The upshot is that if you want to post a var in the discussion section, you'll need to zip it up first. Or host it elsewhere and link to it. Sorry for any inconvenience.
