Asset Bundle Environments Load Incorrectly / Skewed

I am having an issue where some environments (whether loaded as scenes/.var files or as asset bundles) load in a strange, oversized perspective.

The environment is oversized and wonky - this only happens in VR mode as Desktop they load fine. If I load it in VR and it's messed up and I press the 'Monitor' to display on my monitor and it looks fine there but still remains wonky in VR.

Is this a conversion issue? Am I needing to run an additional plug in to make them work or are they just exclusive to Desktop mode only?

Thanks

Oversized and wonky? I'm not sure I really understand what you mean.
Oversized, could be possible... that's just a matter of tweaking the size. People mostly, probably, don't work in VR and do not check the size ratio in VR... so you would need to adjust. But "wonky" is not a term I can help you with, I'm not sure if it's a display issue, a visual issue or something else.

My apologies for the terrible description, it's hard to explain. It's not just size it's more of a perspective thing.
i.e.
I can shrink the asset scale down to .23 and the 'room' (overall asset bundle) will shrink but once I move with the controllers and get back within the room/asset bundle then everything is still skewed.

By skewed what I mean is the asset all seems supersized - for example say there is a chair in a room - the chair appears massive to me and the closer I get the bigger it seems to get while it also 'moves away' as I approach it
-in the sense that it takes a long time to move all the way to the chair. -Think of it like swimming against a small current - I am moving but not near what speed I should and as I do the item is getting ridiculously larger and larger
When I get to the chair it is massive - regardless of the scale being set at .23 for example, -but more importantly it's not just that it's 'larger' in a scale sense, it's like it's a perspective thing, wherein now the chair appears 'off'. It's still 3d but not normal. Sorry I am rereading that and realizing it still sounds like jibberish.

Or another way to put it when I view the room/asset bundle it looks huge, but if I put a model in the model remains normal size and is NOT out of perspective like the asset bundle but their feet touch the floor when I am up close, if I move away they look tiny inside a massive room to where if I back up 5 feet (in game environment) now the model is floating in the middle of the screen and ground is way beneath and ALSO the ceiling is further away.

The assets I am having issue with seem to be created by an Anom but that person seems to no longer be on this server (or I can't find them) -it include files with names like Late Night Set, Afternoon Cafe, K_Studio (in case you recognize em). Some are packed as vars but most are asset bundles and when I load them they only seem to work in Desktop mode. Perhaps it has to do with issues w conversion from Daz or whatever they used to create environment?

I tried to take a screen shot but it corrects itself in screenshot mode (just the screenshot and the little mini UI screen it appears normal). I tried the built in screen shot and I tried the camera add on, both show not only the screenshot but the mini viewer/UI also shows the room correctly even as I am standing in it and it appears massive. If I share to desktop by pressing 'M' to show the screen the asset looks fine on the monitor but still NOT right within VR.

Anyways, really appreciate you replying and totally understand if this makes no sense to you or anyone else, I wish I could take a screen shot as it's driving me crazy but I guess I will just move the file out of my customer/assets and stop messing w them.

FYI you're a legend and I appreciate all you do for the community. I am fairly new but I have so much of your content on my pc that I see your name constantly.
Have a great day and thanks again for trying to help.

No worries! Thank you for the kind words!

Could you try one of my recent enviros? Like R.O.M. or Sanctuary 2? And tell me if anything is wrong.
I'm not sure I grasp exactly what phenomenon could induce that, but what I could suspect is a shader issue, where the enviros were built with improper shaders (ie: non-stereoscopic shaders) and would completely break in VR. If you don't notice any issue on desktop, this is probably the closest reason I can think of!

We'll do, I'll give one a go tomorrow evening and let you know how it goes.

Have a good night

Someone told me the same thing yesterday about one of my asset. In VR It look weird like double and kind of oversize, it happen if the creator forget to add VR in player option, in Unity.
