Question Animate lights

Is there a simple way to animate the movments of lights? For example if I wanted the light to circle a atom then stop above the head of the same atom. Or make the light follow a pattern like a infinity symbol.

Animation patterns, easiest way. Or Timeline plugin, not that much harder and better to handle.
