Question AMD CPU - get a x3d or focus on other hardware?

Hey everyone, is it better if I focus on GPU/memory? Or is it worth it to upgrade from a regular AM4 cpu to a 5700x3d?

For gaming the x3ds are clearly the way to go, but I am unsure for VAM if I'd see any benefits here (currently got a 5700x)
