I noticed a problem with the sounds when using the scene, and remembering that I'd had a similar issue in the past with some specific CUAs I dug into the structure of the room with Acidbubble's GameObject explorer.
I found there was an AudioListener object in the CUA overriding the one in the player camera, and destroying it restored the sound to following camera position.
