Sorry to hear you are having troubles, but yet, no reading or typing is required. You talk and she responds. If you are paying for VIP + AI, that is required, and you are on the right tier. You can also try me on Discord or Patreon for a quicker response (although I've been unavailable the last couple of days, sorry). Please make sure you've read https://sxvr.com/ai In order to talk, you must hold the right mouse button down (desktop) or the trigger button in VR (but first click Hide on the vamX menu). If it's not working, you must set your Windows default microphone then probably restart Virt-a-Mate to get it to work. Let me know if you still have any issues, it's just microphone stuff if it isn't working.

Also, to be clear, when you subscribe to VIP + AI chat you get everything, and you can just choose what to use. There is a simple small plugin with no dependencies, which doesn't include vamX but just makes AI Chat work. Then there is the full vamX, which also includes AI Chat and additional features for AI Chat. Since it's all free if you've bought any of it, I would suggest you start by downloading vamX.1.33 and vamX.Base.1 then running the vamX AI Chat scene, since you can see the https://sxvr.com/ai instructions inside the scene, plus there wouldn't be anything else conflicting... just in case if you still have sound issues.

Separate AI Chat Plugin 1.39 - Update - Easy Move Tools for the AI Chat Window

The AI Chat Web UI (the AI Chat window) is invisible from the back.

To make it easier to position and use, there are now buttons that cycle the Web UI to various locations (such as behind or to the left of the AI person).

After adding the plugin, in Person Plugins, press Open Custom UI... next to AI_CHAT_SERVER_AND_PERSONALITY_SET then use the new Cycle Web UI Location, Cycle Web UI Distance, or Select Web UI buttons to move the Web UI into place.

Yes, you can enter your paid elevenlabs.io key (must be a paid key) and use any eleven labs voices. This is especially useful when voice cloning. We also have over a hundred integrated voices (free with the vamX Chat AI) but not quite as high quality as eleven labs.

Small Bug Fixes & Improvements — New Edit Character Button

By request, we've added an Edit Character button to make it easy to scroll up and edit or summarize the personality (especially in VR where it can be hard to scroll). This button is next to Save Chat in the bottom right corner of the Web UI.

Editing the personality can be useful if you want to change the direction of the conversation without restarting the whole chat. You can also press Summarize Personality to take the whole chat history and turn it into an AI...

Hey @vamX, been considering this for a while now but concerned that the AI isn't very smart or immersive like voxta's current ability isn't. It's not voxta's fault I dont think, just where we are with NSFW AI capability, like a 6 year old.

I hear the SFW AI is pretty good but those are all censored - so can you please tell us how smart the NSFW AI service you're using is? Does she repeat herself and forget things you've told her or is it almost like conversing with a real adult human? Thanks!

You'll get a mix of responses. Sometimes the AI will be extremely smart and with a nuanced reply, other times the reply may be a smart thing to say, but didn't quite match the situation. Other times she will repeat herself. We host a number of different chat models, so that if you don't like the reply just click Retry Last (when set to the default NSFW Random AI) and a new chat model will come in and provide a new answer. So if she repeats herself just click Retry Last.

SFW AI is hosted on much larger servers and developed in ways that are unaffordable for this sort of stuff. That said, NSFW stuff can still be very very amazing. So don't expect it all just work perfectly all the time, but if you're willing to step in and help, like pressing Retry Last (or you can edit your last response or choose some starting words for the AI) the AI can certainly do most of the heavy lifting. The AI will certainly forget things you told her over time. All the demo videos here are the AI generating responses, so you should be able to get an idea. There is a personality box where you can enter things, such as example dialog, which can really help out, so part of how good it works is also if you want to get your hands dirty and edit her personality or provide some example text you might like the AI to generate stuff in the same theme as. It's 50/50.
