There are scenes that have not been given a POV mode. Is there a tool or extension that can be used to add a POV mode later?

yes. Theres is embody and passenger you can add anytime to a scene.

Usually POV mode is designed by the creator and not by VaM system automatically. It‘s up to the creator. If you want to use POV mode, you can manually add addons such as embody to the character that you want to embodied. :) In my case (as a creator), using POV mode in desktop mode makes the eye contact weird frequently, so have a tendency to not include POV ability in my scene. (another reason is that I don’t have HMD. =) Adding embody plugin to the character is quite easy and I suggest to try it. There is good how-to-description in the publishers page.

Also I recommend UIAssist if you are in VR, it allows to create custom buttons easily, and it has an option to add a button with "embody" action (will do everything for you)
