When I want to find MacGruber's PostMagic, I have to scroll. I prefer searching, especially on PC! So having the search field filter both the current folder view as well as the shortcuts would be nice (or a dedicated search field).
Ability to search in var packages too

Use the filtered view and you can search just fine.
