The VAM models sometimes look great when put into certain poses. A while ago I was thinking that it would be great if they could be printed in 3D.

I think when creating/using an atom and give it a pose all 3D data are written to the computer so if someone could make a program in which you can put a saved atom/pose and convert it to a .stl file, man, that would be the next level in VAM; your atoms placed on the desktop.

To be fair, if someone could make such a program; name your price!

VAM has the ability to export models already built in. Not sure if it does hair, but it definitely doesn't do clothing, as that would cause licensing issues.

A plugin will have to be created to be able to 3D print from vam itself.

Thanks alot! at least it's a start. I did a quick test (only 5 cm high) and ik works. Next step; find how to add hair and clothing.
