    Question How to create cloths

Thank you very much, In that case you need base G2 figure only and we can create cloths in blender instead. Will sim be enabled in that case for those cloths?

    Glute (ass crack) morph

just make one in blender, easiest way if one isnt there. Especially just smoothing, you can go into sculpt mode and just use the smooth tool to do it. export the g2f from daz. import the obj into blender. go into sculpt mode. use the smooth tool (smooth, draw, and grab are all fine to use...

    Daz 3d Help

I would appreciate the Daz 3d tutorial into VaM. I was attempting to make clothing, but I couldn't get the bikini top to move up on the gen2 model and to create your own clothing, the tutorial I found, they used zbrush and I don't have that. I do have gimp but I'd need a tutorial for that too. I...

Question any way to tweak mesh points/ create morphs

Yes, ZBrush works great, too. I use the "send to ZBrush" function all the time (only works with newer ZBrush versions, otherwise you have to manually export/import the mesh by hand, which is only some clicks more). Yust be sure to not use functions which adds vertices to the mesh, as this will...

Plugins + Scripts Vam To Daz 2

@Syrinxo @MrGiggly Thanks for answering Mimes questions. :) As a FYI my Daz Generations Blender plugin can potentially recover/repair a subdivided figure, if you have already sculpted on it. Its part of the utility tools but I did not have a lot of real world tests.

Question How to create a morph

kind of. You export the base resolution model from DAZ to an OBJ. Import that in to blender or any other Non-Destructive modeling program. Blender, zBrush, whatever you choose, as long as it doesn't add or delete vertices. Create your moprh, export as obj, import as morph target to DAZ, the...

Are the morph inconsistent between Daz and VaM?

Hi. I am just beginning to create morphs. I will probably make a post soon with questions. What's going on here may have to do with the vam to blender to vam guide's method. The way I have applied that guide's method, it exports an object from VaM which is basically a just a shape when you get...

Guides Import genesis 8 character(only morph) to vam(with pictures)

yes i would export from Daz as an fbx as that saves the rig too, then import the fbx into blender , using blenders pose rotating the arm to check the problem and make adjustments in edit mode or using sculpt. export as an obj and import back in to daz using morph loader pro . if the eyes...

Question How to solve the problem of mismatch between character texture and uv

Did you follow this guide? Blender to VaM. Simple Sculpting Guide - Imgur I haven't done much sculpting in blender, but I believe the general idea is that once you've sculted in Blender, the correct way to bring those back into VAM is by then converting the morphs made in blender into DAZ...

    Genital G2F

You should export your model into Daz and then export it out to Blender. Make whatever changes you need there (without changing vertices count) and then export your morph back into Daz. Save it as a morph asset which can then be interpreted by VAM.

Question How to create a morph

The Wiki is for VaM solely. Morphs are used in VaM but they come from the use of the Genesis 2 DAZ figures. You can make custom morphs taking the G2 figure from DAZ and import it into Blender or others, do the changes, import it back to DAZ and then you can export it to be used in VaM. This is...

Question How to edit specific item in packaged morph

The easiest option is to use existing morphs to combine with those morphs for the result you want. Failing that you would need to edit things in Blender/DAZ.

How to export a Model from DAZ and create a VAM compatible VR Model?

Hi, so VaM and DAZ3D are compatible, given you use the DAZ Genesis 2 (!) figure, then you can skip the part with Blender and go with DAZ alone. You can do a lot in DAZ and there is a huge community and all kinds of tutorials online. Though, if you wan to go beyond that (and you will have to, if...

    Have a basic Blender question

For what you are wanting to do, you can essentially think of blender as a "boneless" model. You can rig models within blender but you would have no need to for anything related to vam. You are correct that there is no bone information being interpreted from Daz. It's only poly groups and...

    Daz 3d Help

Here is one that is pretty good. This link is an adult site: https://www.erome.com/a/H6ImegFr Here is another one: That uses GIMP to add weight to imported clothing. I'm not sure that either one deals with remapping clothes for a different generation to fit GF2. That is really a DAZ...

Plugins + Scripts Vam To Daz 2

Hi there Sure Chokaphi will get back to you, but in the meantime.... Daz morphs are stored as .dsf files - daz needs this format to be able to use them those .dsf can be copied over to your VAM morphs folder - when vam finds a new .dsf file it will create a .vmb and .vmi file which is what it...

Warning: Geometry did not match, failed to create morph.

Hello again. Won't spam threads but I have another question. I was told it's possible to make clothes in Blender as opposed to Daz. Are there any guides anyone knows of so I can use my currently learned Blender stuff to start making clothes as well as morphs? Basically know how to make stuff...

Guides Blender 3.2+ Texture Conversion Templates (G3F/G8F/G9 to G2F) or (G2F to G8F) - Additional Template added

An additional template has been added - available via the download link to allow conversion from G2F to G8F Whilst we still don't have final confirmation on what VAM2 will support, this is a pre-empt to allow conversion. It can be used in conjunction with Chokaphi's excellent Daz Generations...

    Question How to create cloths

Hi everyone As I understood (not sure if I'm right yet), you need to create/buy cloths in DAZ and fit them to a G2 figure with the desired morphs then they can be imported to VAM, However what if I create them in other software such as blender and then use daz to fit them on a figure then...
