Unfortunately there is a version freeze on VaM 1.x while we focus entirely on VaM 2. The update to the hub dependency list is, in part, to help ease this burden so that you can visit the Hub website and download only the direct dependencies, and suggest to your subscribers that they do the same.

This is a bug that is hopefully fixed by our patch today. The "file has already been uploaded" was not the specific goal of this patch, but might have been fixed anyway. I will be testing.

We have released a new patch that hopefully addresses some of these issues. Let me know if you are still experiencing problems after today.

There's an update to the script that handles the credits coming in the next few days. I'm hoping to include a fix to the issue with the dependency notifications in the same hot fix.

Tracking an issue where Dependency notifications are sent erroneously when a resource is hosted off-site by external link.

I have removed the original thread as the desktop app version of the tool has paused development while the online version is fleshed out.

The permanent fix isn't live yet, but I have run the manual fix again to correct the backlog. You should be good now.
