Description

This is a simple mod of the excellent "Bathroom" scene by WeebU. I've added mirrors, video players, and POV toggles to the four core scenes to let the player have a more immersive experience of WeebU's fantastic scene. I've tried to place the mirrors and video players in a way that works with the existing geometry, but I didn't sweat the details of making it make sense narratively -- my primary goal was to just make it easier to see fun things. ;)

Be warned, though -- the mirrors might make your computer cry, and if you don't have strong VR legs viewing some of the animations via POV might be similarly hard on your stomach.

Also worth noting this is in part just a test case to help me figure out how var packaging and hub submission works. I'm not really sure how much interest there actually is in this level of light modification and tweaking work to existing scenes, but I do have more I could share if folks have an appetite for it.

Credits

WeebU, for his original scene!
AcidBubbles for all his work, but particularly for Embody making POV modes easy to make.
VamSander for his VideoController plugin that gives a great alternative to WebPanels for placing video in a scene.

Instructions

This is actually my first attempt at prepping a VAM VAR package, so apologies if there are resource linking issues. Also, WeebU's original scenes use resources that aren't available on the hub, so check the details on his hub entry for help finding them:

The video players are implemented using VamSander's VideoController plugin. You can see the full details of how to tweak it on the hub entry here:

https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/videocontroller.9797/

But if you just want to be able to load directly into the scenes with video playing, I configured it so that if you create a directory in your main VAM folder called VideoPlayer, it will automatically play any usable files you place within. Or, you can find the atoms in the scene called "VideoPlayer" and edit the plugin's settings to choose any directory you like.

One quick tip: VideoController can't navigate windows shortcuts, but symlinks and folder junctions absolutely work. Use those two bits of information if you don't feel like copying video files into your VAM directory -- you can just use symlinks to reference wherever you have them already stored.
