VAR Manager

Other VAR Manager

  • All backup/restore functions will now scan the default Session Plugins Preset for var references
  • Added option to overwrite existing files.
    • Without this option, if a .var exists in both the backup and the main folder, then it will not be moved.
    • Same goes for the Move Old Version of vars function

Fixed sub-folder exceptions not working for backup and restore exceptions.
If you had sub-folders selected in your Folder Exceptions, It would backup those vars even if they were specified as a Folder exception to not back them up.
Also fixed issue where restore folder exceptions were not working at all.

Changed to .NET 6.0.

I found that the app wouldn't even open after a Windows update... thanks M$

IF YOU WANT TO RESTORE YOUR SETTINGS
  1. Open new app in desired location, then close it.
  2. Open File Explorer, navigate to: %localappdata%\VAMvarmanager
  3. Sort by date modified, find the second newest folder, open latest version folder within that folder (.28 probably).
  4. This should have your old configuration user.config file
  5. Copy this user.config file
  6. Navigate to newest folder in #2, open .29 folder, overwrite the user.config file in the .29 folder.
  7. Done.
