VamLightingDirector – The Audio & Quality-of-Life Update!
Your completely underpaid virtual lighting technician just got some further training! This update brings real dynamics to your scenes. Here is the overview of all the new features:
The brand-new Audio-Tracking & Sync Module
Link any audio sources in your scene to your lights. Choose between "Audio Sync" (organic pulsing to the volume) and "Peak Strobe" (hard flashes on heavy beats or drops).
Built-in 64-Band Equalizer & Frequency Tuning
No more guessing: The plugin UI and the desktop HUD now show you a live equalizer. Use the slider to determine exactly which frequency your light should react to.
Independent Controls & Preset Support
Each audio mode remembers its own sensitivity settings. All audio and fine-tuning settings are seamlessly saved in your presets and instantly restored upon loading.
Pulsing Spot Angle (Pulse Spot Angle)
Not just the brightness, but the light cone itself can now be dynamically controlled. Let the angle widen and narrow to the beat, or control it manually.
Tracked Audio Sources
The plugin now also spawns audio sources and pins them buttery-smooth to your character's body parts. Perfect for dynamic dialogue or sound effects in motion.
The new, integrated Audio Player
From now on, a complete audio player is firmly included in the package! This is universally usable for absolutely any audio source in your scene. You can easily add different folders, play entire tracklists from them, and smoothly switch between your music folders at any time.
Visual Selection Marker & Compact HUD
If you select a lamp in the menu, a brief visual effect (sphere/cone) directly in the scene marks exactly which light you are currently editing. The desktop HUD can also now be minimized to a narrow bar so nothing blocks your view.
