Looks Tauna Thunderchest, Minotaur Adventurer

Well, how did you THINK the original Minotaur got stuck in the Labyrinth? He was exploring! He got lost, the poor guy, and all he had to eat for years were these poor dried-up virgins that some dickhead kept sending in to get lost and die of dehydration. And then, some dude with a ball of string showed up and sword-ed him, without even offering to let him use the string first.
Rude!

However, as it turns out, it's a family business! Ol' Mino's 2nd cousin thrice removed, Tauna, is continuing the dungeon-delving tradition. She has a bit of trouble with keeping an adventuring party together, due to occasionally sitting on her allies (by accident), and the communication issues. She's one for really loooooong vowels, so people tend to lose patience waiting for her sentences to end. Not great for urgent situations, either.

That might be part of why her relative ended up at the wrong end of a xiphos, who can say? All we know is that today, Tauna is on the market for new companions... but this time, it's not for dungeon delving.

The poster seems to indicate an opening for an adventurer. You head inside and introduce yourself.
Tauna tosses her head at your greeting. You see both of her soft brown eyes sparkle for a moment, long lashes flicking, before her tawny bangs settle again.

She lows softly, and as you try to make out a coherent word from her extended "moo," she stops - and instead, carefully pushes a tablet at you.

You read the clumsily scribed Greek:

"Please apply in rear. Either entrance."

The translation seems very suspect... but Tauna stands and turns, hooves clopping on the marble, breasts swaying heavily under her chiton.
Looking back at you expectantly over her shoulder, she lifts her garment to expose generous hindquarters...

Downloads in this Resource:
1) One VAR is a simple scene with nothing but Tauna Thunderchest.
2) The second VAR includes the Temple scene with clothing and assets; it references 1) so that nobody downloads the textures twice.
3) Also included: a stand-alone (heh) cow hoof morph I made while practicing for Tauna (it's not exactly the same as hers). NOT REQUIRED for Tauna, her hooves are quite built-in.
This morph is free to use for anything, including commercially, but please mention me if you can, so others know where to get it too.


Tauna is a labor of love (well, like most of my characters). She's a full reboot of one of my early ambitious monster girls, which used merged "forbidden morphs," and was my first attempt at hand-painting any kind of texture.

Just for kicks, this was Tauna's predecessor, Ayashe Thunderchest, from early 2019:

I sculpted Tauna 80% from scratch in Blender. I did start with some VAM proportion morphs to begin with, and tweaked her with more after, but her cow bits - hooves, legs, and head - are all original. So if she looks a little too much like a cow... well, mission accomplished, I guess?



I also finally figured out rigging in DAZ Studio, though I'm not expert at it yet, so some of her joints may still seem a little wonky. I've updated her to be tons better than in the Early Access release, though!

Her skin texture is 100% from scratch. I was considering 8K textures to capture all the fur detail, but that would be a very big download for folks and they take so damn long to work on, so... just 4K this time.

I used reference photos of actual cows, and I bought a new Substance Painter smart material for dynamic layered fur painting... which only took three days to get working right!
I think it was worth it, though, and it'll be great for future projects as well. I hope to get much better at using it, Tauna's fur is a bit chaotic and messy.
