This plugin is a byproduct of a failed one. I originally wanted the VR headset’s passthrough on the world background. Halfway through, I found out my Meta Quest 3 does not expose passthrough to the desktop at all. Damn it!
So I dropped that and made the world background a custom solid color instead.
The plugin has one main job:
Change the world background color.
- You can load it anywhere.
- Turn off the skybox when you use it. There is a shortcut toggle in the plugin.
- InvisiblePanel is on by default, so Person do not fall into the void.
If the scene already has one, it is reused as-is. The plugin does not touch or override that panel, and it will not mess up an existing scene.
- Pick a color on the picker, or click a preset RGB / CMYK swatch.
Screenshot backgrounds and the Window Camera background follow the same color.
