Guides Requested info/ workflow of how i do my looks faces.

Great job. I usually do things by eye but I thought I'd seek out a reference to try and make things a little easier (and to sort out them jaws🤣). I will give OTR a try. Thanks for doing this 👍

This is a very useful guide. My first few attempts are not great likenesses, but I think I'm starting to close in on some promising results.

I spend a lot of time realigning to OnTopReplica images as I want to view things from various angles, so I'm planning on trying out some fixed camera cycling to iterate through them much faster.

Also, to save others some time, if you get horrible results from Facegen and think you can just doctor up the input images, the results will likely be even worse. Facegen seems to get really confused by edited input images, such as even some minor shadow lightening, etc., such as I did to try and get it to stop creating a third nostril and skewing the entire face due to some darker shadows under that nostril in the input image.

Glad it helped and yes , any shadows is bad for facegen but what i usually do is remove shadows from the original picture using paint or similar ( with color Lol ) and then run the edited image through facegen. Its fairly simple to remove shadows tbh . If i get chance i will edit this guide to add a part about removing shadows . Thanks for the review : )

I had zero idea this was even possible. I assumed you were genuinely a master Zbrush sculpter! Amazing tech, I must give it a try!

I think I'm the one you are talking about regarding the workflow? Doesn't matter anyway: thank you for your tutorial! As this offers not much new too me, I think a lot of people in here, especially beginners, can learn a lot from this. I think it's the first tutorial with facegen about this topic (besides the video on youtube which I can't find anymore, download is everything ^^). So, thanks again for your effort!! I would recommend to everyone who's trying to do this: get the persons height right as a first step with a hightmeasurement tool (asset) as this affects all body ratios. Don't use the physics scale for this! Use a morph.

It was actully ReignMocap who asked for THIS ONE and for tips on how i make my faces as they are just starting out making their own looks but YOU did also ask and i didnt really have much to offer you in which you didnt already know / use and like you say , this is really a starter guide but was aimed at helping ReignMocap mostley which is why some of the basics are not in it but also the heilp beginners at making their own looks and like you say , the youtube video has vanished which detailed this so i thought it was worth sharing . Thanks for the review and the support HolySchmidt.
