  • Big rewrite of internals to improve performance.
    • Depending on the scene and GPU architecture, Radeon owners may now see better than native VaM performance.
    • Nvidia users should see improvements also, but it's still a bit of a mystery why there's such a difference between Geforce and Radeon cards here... my guess is the classic driver overhead problem but I don't have a working Nvidia card to test with at the moment so need to rely on the community to provide more info/benchmarks here.
  • Fixed bug where clothes with backface clipping issues would cause flashing overbright bloom spots.
  • Fixed bug where clothes with backface clipping issues would cause black holes when using DoF.
  • Added additional Bloom options (threshold, intensity, radius).
  • Add support for Unity's built in DoF effect while I try and port the better FidelityFX version.
  • Fix race condition in Lens shader where uniforms were not applied consistently after shader load
  • Fix tonemapping exposure applying in the wrong sequence
  • Fixed bug which caused LUTs to apply with higher intensity than was accurate
  • Added exposure control to tonemapper
  • Allow contrast to be decreased as well as increased
  • Changed license to CC-BY-SA
  • Added new atmospheric scattering effect (only partially working in VR for now until I work out some issues)
  • Now supports wider variety of LUTs without visual artifacts.
  • Improved custom LUT file browsing experience
  • Changed suggested LUT path for better VAR detection.
  • Fixed layer mask preventing some scenes from rendering correctly (eg. https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/dragons-nest-t7.37796/)
  • Added new tabbed UI... mostly so I can cram more stuff in and I hate scrolling in VR :)
  • Fixed bug where zbuffer was overwritten before other plugins could draw (fixes VamStory)
  • Improved implementation of Lens effects (vignette and chromatic aberration)
  • Prevent Lens effects running in VR until I work out the visual issues.
  • Added new slider for chromatic aberration
