However, that newer template is a more complex than this is, so if you're looking for a simpler template this may be a better option.
## What the hell is this?
This is a template to "quickly" make new scenes for different environments, character themes, etc. Here's an example of a scene of mine using this template:
Dorm Party
Saying it again, it's a template, not a finished scene. Well, unless a very quiet empty environment is your thing.
This is more suitable for those with already some experience with VAM scene making, but it's also useful to start learning. Animations are made with Timeline and susbscenes for UIbuttons, etc.
## How does it work?
Most of the work is already done with buttons, Timeline animations, triggers and plugins.
Now add a environment, change the persons appearances and clothing, add some audio and plugins like Cue or eMotion to make the people alive. Finally, tweak things so that everything works well in that new environment.
- Load a CUA Environment to atom Environment. Collision is off by default ot avoid blowing up.
- Load music and assign it to atom Audiosource. Set a trigger somewhere to play it.
As there's no environment loaded, there's no support for the people atoms when performing. When you add one you'll need to make the necessary positioning and adjustments.
Note the CUA environment atom has collisions as off, turn it on when adjusting the sex positions for people.
It might be helpful to add a Cube atom, scale it and place under the people's sex action. This can provide a controllable collision structure for the action and is more reliable than the loaded environment. Once it's in position, change the alpha value to 0 in "material" and the surface is now invisible.
## Moving things with subscenes
Each area has a subscene named like StartSS for the position of buttons and lights. Depending on your new environment you'll want to move each subscene to a fitting position and adjust the buttons.
Moving people is a little more difficult but again a subscene is helpful here:
- Open a person's Timeline, select the intended action (cowgirl for example), which should set the pose for both;
- Create a new atom subscene, move it close to the people and add each to this new subscene;
- Move the subscene with the parented people to the location you want;
- Once positioned, go to back to a person's Timeline on that action, select the body controllers and overwrite the pose. Do this for both;
- Finally remove the susbscene parenting and repeat for the other actions.
- Go to a person's Timeline and select Doggy for example. This will set the doggy pose to be around the Doggy susbscene (doggySS);
- Add both people to doggySS;
- Move doggySS to the intended position;
- Remove people from doggySS;
- On each person's Doggy timeline animation (should already be the selected one), select all the body controls > Edit > Overwrite Pose;
- Repeat the process for the other actions.
## v3 and above
- Repeat the sex action without going back to the start animation
- Added randomized female movements on sex acts, except BJ
- Starts motionanimator for actions in the start pose, like speech bubbles or audio for example
Hopefully everything worked out and you can have a brand new scene done "quickly".
## Notes
- To follow this you likely need already some experience with Timeline, subscenes, and basic scene making
- You'll need to adjust things to get them right, especially when changing person scales, unusual morphs or difficult environments
- Have fun making scenes and do share them in the Hub
