LYLLIAM GONSALVES
Known artistically as “Lylli Funk”, she was born and raised in Rocinha, one of the largest favelas in Rio de Janeiro. From an early age, Lylliam showed a natural talent for dancing, especially funk, a genre that reflects the vibrant and resilient culture of Rio's communities.At age 10, Lylliam began attending local funk parties, where she quickly stood out for her dancing skills and stage presence. Her passion and dedication led her to perform at bigger events, gaining recognition inside and outside the favela.
In addition to being a talented dancer, Lylliam is an active supporter of women's rights and social equality. She uses her social media to share her journey and inspire other young people to pursue their dreams despite adversity.
Today, Lylliam is one of Rio de Janeiro's most respected funk dancers, known for her energetic performances and commitment to the community. She continues to live in Rocinha, where she works to promote funk culture and support social projects that benefit the favela's residents.
