Edit: Fixed the dependencies, no more giga-downloads required (except a few big files, but the look and skyboxes are super worth it).
I made a fun little VR scene with Noc_This' Beidou look, to test a workflow with more reactive and procedural character animation. I recommend playing around with the different settings to try a few different experiences! You can cycle through the lights and change the audio settings as well - try going dark in VR for a very intimate experience.
This was designed for VR, but works in desktop as well. Just make sure you scroll all the way up on the mouse, if you have problems rotating the camera after hitting the "POV" button.
Recommended settings:
- Physics Rate: 90Hz
- Physics Update Cap: 1
SET THE PHYSICS RATE TO SOMETHING HIGHER IF THE ANIMATIONS ARE TOO FAST OR JUMPY.
Higher rate means smoother (but slower) and a cap higher than 1 will make it less smooth (and uncomfortable in VR sometimes).
EPILEPSY WARNING - There's some flashing fireworks, they can be turned off with the intensity slider.
If you like the character model, make sure to check out Noc_This' other resources and their Patreon as well.
Even with the right physics settings, some of the animation transitions on the hands can "stick" a little. That mostly only happens in the "All" personality though, as it is when moving from close to leaned all the way back that it can occur. If this takes you too much out of the experience, try just sticking to one of the personality types instead.
