FloatingHand | A standalone, fully animatable physics hand for your scenes
FloatingHand spawns VaM's own VR controller hand as a scene object on an Empty atom. It comes with the same per-finger joint physics and collision as the VR hands. Every control is a triggerable, so you can animate everything in Timeline.
This plugin is aimed at scene creators and animators! Everything is designed to be posed once and keyframed in Timeline.
Features
How to use
Add an Empty atom and load FloatingHand.cs onto it.
About the "GPU Colliders (hair + cloth)" toggle
This gives the hand collision with hair and clothing (is also required for Cloth Grab). It's off by default: turning it on builds the colliders one at a time over roughly 25 seconds (the progress is shown above the hand). This slow build is on purpose, since adding colliders in bulk mid-scene can crash VaM installs that are running the Performance Patch. This one-by-one build is what makes it safe without crashing. Scenes that are saved with the toggle on will rebuild the colliders on each scene load.
