In short: Why it's been quiet and where we are heading If you've been wondering about the radio silence over the past few weeks: I haven't been idle, I've just been extremely self-critical. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the direction of my recent work and have been experimenting a lot behind the scenes. I wanted to find a new, better middle ground—between raw scan textures and game engine physics, but also between flawless "Instagram perfection" and real, natural bodies. As a test run, I chose a familiar face to work out exactly these natural curves and realistic skin structures. If you can share the inner joy I'm feeling about this new style right now, it will give me the confidence I need to tackle all the pending commissions and requests at new level of quality.
I know I’d already started this project once before – but it didn’t feel quite right to me – so I’ve dusted off the arrows again and also incorporated the latest assets and cosmetic add-ons (new teeth, new fingernails, new lip design, etc.)
