CPU Performance Patch (Up to 30% faster physics, up to 60% more FPS)

Other CPU Performance Patch (Up to 30% faster physics, up to 60% more FPS)

Getting a decent 15-20% increase in benchmark for TotalTime (Render+Physics+Script), across the board with Ryzen 7 3800XT & 1080ti.

Like getting a free processor upgrade! - Thankyou so much for the work you put in on this and then sharing with us.

so i decided to give this a try im on a i5 4590 and a gtx 960......and i went from 45 fps to 60 fps on heavy scenes and solo scenes almost 100 fps so basically a mayor improvement!!

I can confirm, without reshade, this DLL change conferred around an exta 40 FPS on my system during the benchmarking process. I have a 9700K and a 3090TI running at 4K. Reshade brings the FPS back down to my normal levels, but this seems to have severely stabilized framerate when it comes to physics and multiple characters.

I play exclusively in VR.
I have a i7 14700k with a rtx 3080 and on scenes with single character(no motion) i can see significant inprovements. But i dont really see any difference when i have more than 1 character. I did play around with the ini file but it doesnt really help.

These are the setting i have for the ini

[threads]
computeColliders=8
skinmeshPart=8
applyMorphs=8
skinmeshPartMaxPerChar=8
applyMorphMaxPerChar=8
affinity=1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15

[threadsVR]
computeColliders=8
skinmeshPart=2
applyMorphs=4
skinmeshPartMaxPerChar=8
applyMorphMaxPerChar=8
affinity=1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15

[profiler]
enabled=0

I did check with your out of the box values as well and everything in between for threadsVR. Static scenes have real fps improvents but scenes with motions seem to be same as if they are not patched at all.

I installed it the other day when it started and i definitely see improvements on my i5 11400f (10fps depending on scene) so, thank you a lot!!

First: I had to re-register lol hahahah.

Second: I think i speak for almost everyone who tried this out !

THANK YOU !!!!

This really improved my FPS from just drop and dragging it into my Vam directory.
My specs are:
Intel i9 12900K 3.20GHz base speed
Nvidia Geforce GTX 3090ti 24 GB ram. Brand MSI
System Ram: 2x Corsair RGB Something 2133MHz With EMP it's to 4000MHz

Upon loading a scene which i made with particles, objects and a character i had 30 FPS.
Upon loading the same scene with this wonderful patch i got 71 FPS.
THATS DOUBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If someone could make a tutorial on Intel and Nvidia card specs how to set it up that would be lovely :)
I am not a person who is with computers and stuff but the basics i know and can find like my own specs but that's just about it hehehehe.

Once again thank you so much for this and have a wonderful day.

all stars merited: no crash detected and (apparently) a good max cpu power (Watts values) playing a severely hard (from physics p.o.v.) custom scene. With this mentioned scene I get around 50fps (faps-per-second 😊) through Virtual Desktop streaming on quest 3. Not bad for a 13700k overclocked and 3080. I was setting (computeColliders recommended for intel) % > 18.

Very good work! My Vam is def running 30-40% faster now on my Intel i9 & 4090 Nvidia Geforce RTX. I pushed everything to 10 and it´s working fine for now.
