Highlights
Rip sounds — plays a random tear sound on each rip. Drop your own .wav/.mp3/.ogg into the plugin's Rip Sounds folder, with a volume slider and a "Reload Rip Sounds" button.
(Off by default so a first load won't startle you.)
Save & Load Presets — save an item's full settings
and its exact cut (drawn/open/random) to Saves/PluginData/ClothingRipper/, then reload it in any scene. Each garment gets its own folder so you can keep multiple presets per item organized. A saved cut reloads onto the same garment; on a different one, the settings still apply.
Progressive "lightning" rip + Rip Direction — instead of popping open all at once, the tear now travels across the garment. Choose the direction it sweeps (Bottom→Top, Left→Right, Front→Back, Along Cut Line, Spread From Point…). It now works for
drawn and open cuts too — a drawn waist/neckline cut unzips along your line.
Live cut preview — "Show Cut Lines" is now a true live preview that updates instantly as you change Number Of Pieces / Random Seed / Cut Raggedness / Seam Width. The separate "Preview Cut" button is gone.
More pieces — Number Of Pieces raised from 16 →
64.
Redesigned UI — compact tabbed layout (Setup / Cuts / Rip Anim / Phys & Sound / Advanced) with the item picker and RIP/Restore buttons pinned above the tabs so you can tweak and re-rip from any tab. Each tab has its own explanations with the control names in bold.
Also new / improved
- Debug wireframe works before ripping — toggling it now pre-computes the cut and shows the colored pieces + red cut edges live, so you can preview where any item will tear without ripping. Updates live with the sliders and toggles cleanly back off.
- Clearer "Open Cut" controls — the two open-cut toggles are relabeled and explained (slit-that-stays-on vs. drop-the-whole-garment-on-RIP).
- "Disable Smoothing On Rip" removed — it's now always on (turning it off only caused stretched edges, so there was no reason to expose it).
Fixes
- Pre-Cut / preview no longer detaches loose parts or shows a stretched texture — the garment stays fully intact until you actually RIP.
- Fixed a bug where restoring a drawn/open cut could leave the cut (and a stretched texture) behind.
- Fixed open-cut + "drop whole garment" + RIP + Restore leaving the item stuck cut.
- Fixed rip sounds going silent after the plugin is reloaded/updated.
- Live preview no longer re-applies a cut you just restored.
