Full-featured desktop camera navigation for VaM
Adds right-click drag to rotate, scroll wheel to dolly, WASD/QE free movement, middle-mouse pan, boost/precision modifiers, and a home position system. Works as a Session Plugin so it stays active across scenes.
▸ What It Does
Right-Click to Rotate
Hold right mouse button and drag to look around. Horizon leveling keeps the view flat with no accidental roll.
WASD / QE Movement
Free-fly around the scene relative to your view. W/S forward-back, A/D strafe, Q/E down/up.
Middle-Mouse Pan
Hold middle mouse and drag to slide the camera sideways/up/down without changing where you're looking.
Scroll to Dolly
Scroll wheel moves you forward and back in whatever direction you're facing.
Boost / Precision
Hold Shift to move faster, hold Ctrl to slow down for fine positioning. Both are adjustable multipliers.
Home Position
Press H (or the Set Home button) to save your current spot, then Home key or Return Home to snap back to it instantly.
Input-Over-UI Blocking
By default, hotkeys and movement are ignored while your mouse is over VaM's UI, so you won't fling the camera while clicking menus.
Movement Clamping
Per-frame step clamp prevents input spikes (alt-tab, frame hitches) from throwing the camera far away.
Settings Save
Your settings save to Saves/PluginData/MilkBaron/CameraNavPRO/settings.json (separate from the free CameraNav) and reload automatically.
▸ Why It Exists
● Takes the original CameraNav rotate/zoom concept and builds it out into a full free-camera rig — keyboard movement, panning, a home position to return to, and safety clamps so the camera can't glitch out or fly off during heavy scene navigation.
▸ Controls
