Blender texture conversion templates (Version 2)
An updated version of my original texture converter template moved to Blender 3.2+ to support the current GUI
5x Blender templates that can be used to convert:
For personal use only unless you are the author of the original textures:
G2F textures (eg from VAM1) to G8F (Daz & VAM2)
For textures that you own and for personal use only:
G3F or G8F to G2F (VAM1)
G9 to G2F (VAM1)
G8.1F to G8F (VAM2)
G9 to G8F (VAM2)
- They will convert Diffuse, Normal, Spec and Gloss if they are included in your original texture set.
- To G2F template will also prepare a genitals texture (which needs to be finished off in photoshop or gimp).
User guides are included together with some example diffuse overlay textures to finish things up in your 2d layer based paint app
They have been tested with Blender 3.2 and 4.2 (4.2 significantly reduces bake time)
What you’ll need:
- Blender 3.2 or above - it won’t work with earlier versions as it requires the udim bake feature
- Photoshop, Gimp or a similar layer based paint application.
- Some basic knowledge on how to make minor corrections to textures within Photoshop/Gimp
