Random Look+

Plugins + Scripts Random Look+

Download [<1 MB]
This is the NC-ND version of RandomLook, which is a utility plugin that applies a random appearance preset to a Person atom in one step.

The plugin builds a candidate list from pools you turn on: Looks (.json) under Saves/Person/appearance, local Appearance presets (.vap) under Custom/Atom/Person/Appearance, and/or .vap files inside AddonPackages (.var) (appearance paths in packages).

It picks one random entry from whatever pools are enabled. If a .json look is chosen, RandomLook converts it to a Preset_*.vap under your Appearance folder (reusing an existing file when present, and copying the matching .jpg preview when available), then applies it with a configurable initial delay so details settle more reliably.

Features
  • One-click random pick and apply, plus Reload for the last chosen preset
  • Separate toggles for Looks (.json), local .vap, and AddonPackages .vap pools
  • .vap and .json support with automatic JSON → .vap conversion when needed
  • Load delay before the first apply; Auto Reload delay for the optional second pass on JSON picks
  • AppearanceLoaded event (Post Load Trigger) with trigger delay, for timelines/automation after load
  • Optional rename the Person atom to match the preset name
  • Optional Auto strip after load: removes clothing items (paths under custom clothing) while keeping accessories/face/hair-related entries, with its own delay
  • Plugin actions for “Load Random Look” and “Reload”
  • Robust apply path: delayed application for storables that are not ready on the first pass
Would appreciate your support on Patreon !
