• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

Swamp Environment

This is a custom created scene to feature one of my characters, felt like sharing it as so much efforts have gone into making it and probably could view nice creations using it by the VaM Community.

Enjoy ✌

Note: This scene has Post-Magic, to use it in VR you need to disable the Anti-Aliasing Feature under "AutoFocusPoint" atom.

Inside - Swamp (NoLight+BakedLight) + Thunder Audio + Built Scene.

Incredible environment, especially in VR (thanks for the note in Discord about disabling anti-aliasing to make it work properly). You seem to have some effect that viewing in a direction away from the center causes a blurring or depth of focus effect that is both really cool for making a specific look, but it would be great if there is a way to disable it. I'm too much of a n00b to figure out where this is set, can you give me a hint?

Again, amazing work, definitely the most detailed and atmospheric environment I've seen here so far, and I second the notion that more incredible scenes like this would be much loved!

Thank for for the information. The scene contains the assets used mainly the built scene + the effects as one asset excluding the fog. You could always just make your own scene using them.

Regarding the post processing effects, that is all adjustable to your liking, just click on the AutoFocusAtom and play around with all the enabled effects, or just outright disable or delete it entirely. There is no right or wrong way to enjoy the environment, I just went with drabby or eeri look.

Errors when loading:
Spacedust101.assetbundle not valid
MacGruber_PostMagic.cslist does not exist

I do have both of these in my script and asset folders. Weird. It would be awesome to have the fog effect that is shown in your preview -- but I do not. Perhaps I need to reload both these files but no links to these resources are in your post.

This is not the proper section to vent out on errors and seeking clarity and showing frustration.

This scene's dependencies are obtainable from VaM Hub through "Dependencies section" in the post up which shows clearly "3" items, you should ignore NoStage Hair as this is a dependency that hazmhox attached for some reason in his Spacedust 101 Var, also it comes built in now in VaM.
I'm not sure why you need the PostMagic/Spacedust101 in Script/Asset folder also. The dependencies are using the .Var version. Anyhow, you could always open your Package Manager and Scan for Missing Packages, it will locate any if missing and will prompt you a neat button to click "Download All" that will probably fix your problem in this scene and many others.
