VaM 1.x Making Looks With Blender

I've been on and off trying to make my own VAM Looks with Blender Models for quite some time now with no luck. It's definitely me and my pea-sized brain. I was just wondering if anyone could link (or maybe even make if you're kind or patient enough) a very detailed tutorial. It would be very appreciated!
