When i look around the in the Scene with the right mousebutton in Desktopmode,
there is a specific point fixed around which the camera rotates

I for example want the camera to rotate around a character or the selected object,
when i rotate the view with the right mouse button in the scene.

Is this possible, and how do i do that?

Solution
Once you have the atom or node selected, just press the F key.

A while back, I requested an enhancement to have a user preference to auto-focus on the hip of the character nearest the camera on scene load. That never happened...

Select object or body part (node) and press (F) to focus selected?

Or use mousewheel to move the point of view forward/backward, or middle mouse button + drag to pan it around.

Thanks SpaceHeryp

I know about the mousewheel and middle mouse button and do use them all the time.
But the right mousebutton is the one, that makes to turn around the view,
and i would like to turn around the view to the selected object or atom.
Is there an option that makes this possible?
