Chiara Graphics Plug-in - PostProcess Graphics Plugin

View attachment 623527Inspired by MacGruber's PostMagic. Many thanks to MacGruber for the many excellent plugins he's shared with the community.

Post-processing plugin for VaM's main camera, built on Unity's official Post-processing Stack v2 (via BepInEx).

Features
  • Bloom, color grading, vignette, chromatic aberration, grain, lens distortion, antialiasing (FXAA/SMAA/TAA)
  • Depth of field with auto-focus (nearest person atom, or a manually chosen control point)...

This plugin works well for me, but unfortunately it cannot be used with [Post Another fix], which causes the game screen to flip 180 degrees. I think it might just be a minor issue, and you might be able to fix it.

Hello, may I ask what advantages or differences there are between your plugin and PostMagic?
Hi, thanks for asking! Compared to PostMagic, the main differences are:
  • Runs on Unity's official Post Processing Stack v2 — the newer engine (PostMagic is built on the older PPv1).
  • Its own independent UI window rather than VaM's standard plugin panel, so controls can be laid out more spaciously and stay readable at any UI scale.
  • Save your current look as a preset and apply it instantly to any other scene.
  • Full LUT compatibility, plus .cube file support on top.
  • Autofocus automatically tracks whichever person is closest to the center of the screen.
  • Motion blur also reacts to character body movement, not just camera movement.

Thanks for letting me know! That's the same category of issue as running two post-processing plugins on the main camera at once — they end up fighting over the same camera setup. The two aren't meant to be run together; disabling one while using the other should clear it up. Even if they happen to run without an obvious problem like this, they could still cause other unpredictable issues down the line.

Hey~!

Perhaps this is an incredibly silly question, so I apologize if it is, but when using your plugin - how does one actually proceed to take a picture with it?

Using built-in screenshot plugins, like MacGruber's SuperShot, don't capture the effects of your plugin and making screenshots with ReShade - without upscaling VaM via an external program - does capture the effects, it just is in comparatively low resolution as opposed to when one is using SuperShot.

Chiara applies its effects to VaM's main camera, so a Windows PrintScreen of the screen includes them. The colors may look slightly different from what you see on screen, though.SuperShot (and VaM's built-in screenshot tool) renders through a separate screenshot camera that Chiara doesn't touch, so those images don't contain Chiara's effects.
