VaM 1.x Changing 'dot' size on VR menus possible?

Hi, I am REALLY struggling to see which menu option is being pointed at on menu screens, it would be helpful if either the dot was much more visible, or the pointer 'stopped' at what it was pointing at rather than the laser beam being one continuous line past where it connects
either of these options available anywhere?

I know it's a little thing, (No pun intended!) but for those of us without great eyesight it's horrendous!

I've not tested it, but Snippets by everlaster has a vrpointersetting option that can "Adjust the width, color and alpha of the left and right VR laser pointers."

thanks for that info, I'm not sure it would help me tbh, my problem isn't I have trouble seeing the laser, just the dot where it intersects with the menu.
If the laser didn't actually beam thru the menu like it wasnt there, that would be great. If the menu choice it lands on changed colour or brightness etc, great. If the dot itself is bigger, great.

but the current system where it beams through, is just irritating cos sometimes is really hard for me to tell which menu item it is going to select

I did try asking ChatGTP to write it, it gave me half a dozen versions 'this time is absolutely guaranteed to work'.

I was gonna try build up some suspense here, but I think you may have guessed... they didn't.
