VaM 1.x Does VAM support any gen character model?

Threads regarding the original VaM 1.x
So for example gen 8 clothing does not work on gen 2?

You can't port Daz clothings. At least, publicly. You can only do it for yourself (id, personal use) if you want, or if you'd do public (even non-commercial) or commercial use for screenshots or videos, you'd need to license the clothes which... can also have specific "stricter" licensing depending on the asset. But it's not authorized to port them if the intent is to publish them on the hub.

But clothes are a different matter, as they are individual meshes, you could simply sim/import them in VAM. This shouldn't be a problem.

This process can be used to transfer G7 and G8 character morphs from Daz to Vam, but it's finicky. There's no good process for V4, V5 AFAIK. Skin textures would have to be re-wrapped, which is way more complicated. I've used the G8 process on original models I created in Daz, then used skin textures already available here.
