Ok maybe I'm doing something stupid but when I load the scene (in desktop mode) it is dark and I can't see anything. When I remove the transition thing then I can see but I none of the "buttons" on the notepad work. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I have seen this happen before, make sure that Timeline is up to date and that you haven't accidentally denied it permission to run.

Quick question, I don't know much about editing scenes, but is it possible to open Coral's legs (I think it's Coral) when she's sitting on the floor? I tried moving them, but they kept bouncing back to the original position. I also tried unlocking movement/rotation, but that didn't seem to help.

Hi! Glad you liked it.

You'll need to open Coral's plugins tab and go in to Timeline. Find the animation you want in the dropdown list, select it and press Stop. This will let you move the atoms around normally.

Every time I load the scene or transition between animations, the character’s clothes reset to default. How can I make the clothes persist?

Unfortunately this is a legacy of how the clothes presets work in the context of being able to skip between scenes, the appropriate preset has to be loaded on every scene change. I have since developed a new method that avoids this problem but it was after this scene, I do want to revisit it one day and I'll swap to the new method.

What you can try in the meantime is save your own copy of the scene and replace the presets wit your own.
