I took the sim's clothes off to a certain point and wanted to use that in the animation. But when I move the character, the clothes go back to their original place. Is there any way to freeze the clothes on the sim or is it possible only to completely undress?

I apologize if my question is stupid )

You can use cloth grab spheres to hold clothes in place. Say you want pants down to knees you can grab the waist band and pull the spheres down to the knees then parent the spheres to the knees so you can move them around. However some actions reset the clothing sim and can even clear the cloth grab. I believe changing clothing collision radius does this and sadly loading the scene resets and clears the grab so you have to go thru grab and move process each time you load before starting animation. The only surefire workaround is to create the clothes with a preset sim made with pants down.

If by "moving" you mean "grabbing the origin and moving the character somewhere else". This is normal, because you have the "freeze physics when moving" enabled. And freeze physics will reset all the physics on the character.

You cannot save/freeze the clothes physics and use it at a later time sadly.
