Hey hey fine community! I am calling for your help! I am looking to fill out this character compendium for Tolkien's LOTR Legendarium.

I am wanting to rally the fine creators of the VaM community that would have interest in helping me with this daunting task. The link above is only a fraction of what I would hope for this page to be a years time from now. I consider this a fanart project that is just meant to be for fun and not at all serious. Artist interpretation will be fully allowed as part of this! I don't want any gatekeeping or Um, Actuallys. Now joint discussion about lore and making sure we do things as properly as possible is fine and even encouraged! I just want this to only be a positive experience for anyone involved. I am wanting to have as much collaboration as possible and really make this be a community bonding experience. I plan to create a group chat as well for cross discussion, lore talks, and other fan art from this universe that we make with these characters.

So if you have interest in doing a collab with me on any character from the Legendarium, please contact me! It can be anything: hair, clothing, textures, morphs, assets, and beyond! I hope people are interested and this can be a fun event for the community overall. Cheers!

I don't know that I can do that, but you'd better fucking believe that I want to give it a shot!! I feel like I need to level up my tech prowess a lot first though... I need to be at least, like, 60% MPSL*, and I'm currently only about 25% MPSL, probably being generous.

*MPSL = Mopedlampe Skill Level

If someone creates Gollum we are going to sponsor some Gollum animations to it =D Just as a first ispirational input. Love the fanart idea and as a LOTR fan I would be happy to contribute some parts to it :)

Lots of progress being made so far! Current characters in the works or mostly done: King Thingol, Feanor, Melian, Luthien, Beren, Thranduil, Aragorn, Glorfindel, Sauron, and more!! Expect some very soon!
 
Original Character concept for my Flame of Udûn Scene, 'Drums in the deep.' (Balrog is done, now animating a scene)

Rhea Ghâshara

Descendant of the People of Carn Dûm, scattered by the fall of Angmar in 1,975 of the Third Age. Rhea was raised to a coven of peregrine witches in Taur-e-Ndaedelos, southern Murkwood, drawn by the shadow that grows there.

Marked by the Dark sigil of Angmar, she is ever reminded of her heritage, yet envious and covetous of the power her people once held. Taught some of these ancient arts from a young age, she is skilled in alchemy and the control of nature, bending both the plants and beasts around her to her will.

It may be that very skill that made her so perceptive to the whispers.

Each night the flames in the darkness of her dreams grow brighter, the whispers louder. The eye in the centre of that fire drawing her mind to Dol Guldur, imbuing her with greater power and showing her visions. Fire in the dark. The black pit, Moria.

Nearly five centuries of quiet darkness masking the rage and power that dwells in the depths of that place. Power that can be hers to tame and wield the whispers promised.

Over the coming nights the whispers grew softer, but the flames in her shadowy dreams lingered and swelled, spawning an undeniable primal craving within her. As she made her preparations, the whispers began to take on on a new sound. A constant beat in her head growing stronger.

Now, in her every waking moment she could hear the beat of the drum, striking at every thought to fixate her deeper on her craving. The drum. The dark. The Fire.

Luthien is out!

Was a lot of fun making her. HFD is working on the mother of this character so I asked for the head morph he had and spliced it in so there will be a tiny sprinkle of her in there. VaMRainey started the look off and sent me over her elf and I remixed it into what you see on the post!

Lots of exciting things coming from awesome creators just around the corner.
 
I really need to hurry up with my scene, things are coming out fast. Great work on Lithariel SolidVault.
 
I don't know how on hell you will make Shelob or Ungoliant, but I am intrigued to see the results.
 
I'd love some help if you are free. I've been posting teasers on pogdaddy's discord, I've been trying to avoid spoilers on here until i'm done. I'll send you an invite on there.
