• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

“Name Space” By default this will say “Person”.
This will display the name of the currently selected Person Atom. You can rename it here as well.

”Additional Joints” The settings in this area affect the two joints that control the deformation of the glutes.
This is for general glute motion and physical interaction. It uses less CPU than soft physics.
Used best for most movements, sitting on chairs, bending and posing, when the glutes are not the primary focus.

”Mass” Adjusts the weight of the glutes as they affect other physics based props and atoms in the game.
As a reference 1.00 is equal to 1kg in VaM. The higher you set the number the heavier the glutes are and the more affect motion has on them.

pasted image 0 (3).png
”Center Of Gravity” Affects the center point of the glute motion in relation to the hips. “0” is set closer to the outside of the glutes, “1” is set closer to the center of the hip bone.

pasted image 0 (4).png
”Spring” Affects how closely the glutes follow the motion of the hips up and down.
The lower ther number the softer/looser the glutes appear to be. A higher number tightens the glutes giving much less bounce.

pasted image 0 (5).png
”Damper” Affects how quickly the secondary motion of the glutes comes to a rest after moving up and down.
The higher the number the less secondary motion there is.

”Soft Physics” These settings are specifically for the Glute Soft Physics.
Soft physics are more demanding on your CPU and should be used when the glutes are the primary focus of your scene and you want direct physical contact.

”Soft Physics Enabled” Enabling this setting turns on soft physic deformations on the glutes.

”Auto Fat Collider Radius” With this setting toggled on the Fat Collider Radius is automatically adjusted based on the morphs defining the glute size and shape.

For most characters this should be fine. If you are using custom morphs you will want to toggle this off and adjust the setting as you desire.
