Hey, I'm currently working on a graphic novel. I've decided that I'm going to try to make it using VaM. Sure, VaM isn't exactly the ideal platform for it. But I find RenPy a bit too static, especially when it comes to animations – at least for what I have in mind. But there are some really great tools from Hazmhox. With those, you can actually do quite a lot. And it´s a good starting point!
You could make an awesome fully animated experience with RenPy, the average novel is just too lazy to do that much content. (because yeah, at the end of the day it's the amount of things you gotta do that is the problem
