Could've been a bug in vam. Try giving it a proper reset by closing and restarting it and see if the issue persists

What shaders do you use? I have dead lifeless eyes with no light.
EDIT: if anyone else has my problem turn your pixel light count up (under user preferences)

I personally just adjust the specular and gloom settings to make them uniformly more bright. As for the sclera, Use a full white texture on Defuse and the others. As for the iris, same thing applies, but you use the texture of the iris itself. Hope that helps
