Hello totally new to VAM.

Downloaded a paid look that comes in .blend file. I know where to put .var files but I've couldn't open .blend files in VAM.

Where should I put the .blend file to use it in Vam?

Thank you.

A .blend file is for blender. You can open it in blender to see whats in it, but It wont work in vam. What is the file?

I was looking for some character looks in the VAM hub. I've download 1 look from the hub, when I checked it it was an .blend file. I've just downloaded blender to check what's in it, and I suppose there is a model for the character that I wanted to download. Is there is a way to convert this to use it in Vam?

With respect, not for a novice. Vam uses a Daz Genesis 2 model. All shape changes are done with morphs. To put morphs into vam you need either the daz .dsf files or .vmb and .vmi files from vam. All looks should have these packaged in a Var.
Did you only get the blend file?

Yes, I only have .blend file. I saw clothing, shapes, hair, eyebrows, body, armature every kind of design/stuff in the blend file using blender but I don't have any kind of info to use this in VAM, not even in the download page.

I'd try and ask the creator if i were you. What you are asking to do is not simple. You can check the guides for info on creating morphs and importing clothing if you want to learn how, but If the creator is sharing just the blend file as a look, they really shouldn't be.

I'm not sure if I can contact the creator or not but I will try. Thank you for your time and patience for assisting a newbie.

Can you link the hub resource? I'll take a look.

I'm not buying it just to prove a point, but I think you clicked the wrong link. The .blend file is from the smutbase original that Jingo may have adapted it from. Other poeple have liked and reviewed it on the hub, so there must be a Vam look Var there after you click buy now.

Damn you are right. After double-checking the ko-fi site, there was a pay button all the way to the right side of the webpage. When I saw the smutbase link I clicked it right away and downloaded the blend file. Feeling like an idiot rn :/ Thanks for the help.
