I have a rather complex scene with two ladies and a man. I would like to swap the ladies around in the scene and have been exploring how this might be done. I was thinking that I wanted to copy either the current applied "appearance" or "pose" between the two lady characters. As I explored all of the options under the actions for UI buttons I saw the "save to store 1" and "restore from store 1" functions and thought this might be the answer, but I can't even get them to do anything. What are these for and how do you use them?

Save slots are temporary saves, used to quickly transfer material settings to another (similar type) atom.

Example: you have red cube with textures, save material settings to slot 1, add new cube atom and than load (restore) slot 1 to transfer material settings.

Ahh... Okay that makes sense. The link you provided reminded me that I had seen those functions before. However, in the menu for UI Buttons there are listed under the "Receiver Target" for the "Receiver" of "Appearance Presets", "Restore Appearance Preset From Store 1". This made me think that I could save the appearance to this "store" location and then call it back up from the "Restore Appearance from Store 1" function. Is this not true? It appears to not be. Oh.... and thanks for the help!

I had the same idea some time ago, tried to use the Store options for appearance presets, but also failed to do anything useful in that way :(
Perhaps it's broken?

You can't do person#1 save slot 1 and than restore/transfer on person#2.
There are many unused leftover stuff in vam.
It would be cool if those triggers work that way, but sadly they don't.

I was beginning to think that was the case, but I wanted to verify. Thank you!
