Hi there...

When I grab an object in VR, like a person or parts of a person and move them around, very often suddendly the selected object slides away from me.
Really hard to do position work like this.

I'm not sure if it has something to do with the Touchpad function of my controller.
I can draw selected objects in my direction with this function or push them away from me.
But I tried to move objects, without even touching my touchpad and the objects slided away from me anyway.

Is ther maybe a function for that, which I can turn out?
couldn't find any.

In VR I don't see any meaningful difference when moving persons compared to desktop use. Maybe you're locking a node instead of grabbing it?

Moving aperson is even easier in desktop mode, but posing a person, adjust hands, feets and other body parts, can be faster and more precise in VR mode.

No, I grab them and i can move them around, they just regularly slide away.

I meant in that VAM behaves the same way in VR or desktop. If it slides in one but not the other while doing the same thing, then I suspect it's something you're doing with the controller most likely.

Ah ok... maybe as said, it has something to do with the touchpad field of the controller, which allows to draw in and pull objects.
An option turn that function off would be a good thing to check this ous.

There's options in the User Preferences, not sure if they apply.
I don't have any issues in VR like you described. Perhaps it's a different headset than yours, different setup or way of doing things.

Hm... I checked the settings, but couldn't find anything to turn off that sliding thing.
Not sure if it is even possible to change that function.
