I am begging for someone to help me figure this out.
I recently got a Valve Index VR headset, I upgraded from the Rift S to this machine. All games I've played through steam have been seamless and perfect, no controller issues, nothing.
Virt-a-mate is a guilty pleasure of mine, and used to use my rift S to play it. I excitedly wanted to play VaM on it seeing as the quality was immaculate, and I had seen others on the forums and videos and whatnot show off the capabilities of Index hand tracking in the game. I boot up the vr, Steam home and menus work, everything functions as intended, I open VaM, it loads as a recognized game, the menu opens, I can look around freely in the VaM menu, Quality is amazing. I look down at my hands. They are gone.
I try restarting, nothing.
I try changing folder locations, nothing.
I try editing bindings, nothing.
I try changing setting within VaM, nothing.
I try editing steam settings, nothing. etc etc etc
I have never, ONCE, seen these controllers in-game. Not even for a millisecond. The controllers might as well not exist.
I have tried a million different ways of solving this issue, nothing has solved it. I have searched high and low for answers, all I can find is people either saying how great it is, or people asking the same questions and getting no reply.
Please, please, can someone with the knowledge on how to solve this issue please help me. I come back every month or so with newfound will to try and solve this to no avail. It would mean the world if someone could solve this issue with me.
