I haven’t looked closely at the Cell Effect plugin, but I suspect its outlines are drawn via a shader effect applied directly to the character.
The outline I made is simply a post-process effect, like Post Magic.
So they work differently.
Same like from succubus (cell effect)?

Ok, thx for information.

If you’d like to apply it to objects as well, try adjusting the options Chroma Edge Weight and Luma Edge Weight.

I have found that adjusting using the DLUtils plugin to adjust RenderQueue values on CUAs will also help manage the outline on non-Person atoms. Hair CUAs, environment CUAs, skyboxes and more can all be affected or not affected as desired, without necessarily needing to crank the edge weight or thickness settings to unmanageable levels. DLUtil adjustments on the generated Person-Outline CUA can also affect the results but the other render queues will need to be adjusted to compensate. You can also make these adjustments without the plugin in the "Shaders" tab if you'd like to affect individual clothing items.

...that said, I've also not been able to get SuperShot to properly capture the effect past my first posted attempt. I'm wondering if it has to do with me constantly screwing around with these values outside of the plugin, but even when I return to "defaults" I can't seem to capture the effect again (shows up in the capture preview window but not the final screenshot).

Let me fix it.
It shouldn’t be too difficult.
I’m in the middle of updating Post Another, so I’ll finish that first.

Amazing! It almost sounds like you might already know what to fix, despite my vagueness/lack of understanding on the problem! 😅

Like I said, I had no issues with the capture I posted here from my first real attempt, but since then I can't figure it out. Even if you don't end up figuring out the issue though this is still such a useful tool for my own local enjoyment, and I'm extremely grateful for your efforts making this resource.
