I've seen similar behavior raised in a few posts but trouble finding a solid workaround. TL;DR is that on a new or existing anim, I load a pose preset for the first frame, save the pose, apply it just to double check, but then the pose gets jacked up as soon as you hit play (usually trying to revert to whatever pose was applied before you loaded and saved the new one). More detail/repro instructions below (apologies for length, just want to give as much info to explain the issue):
1) Create a new anim in timeline. Anim is stopped and I'm at at frame zero. (my segment already has a number of body controls as targets, nothing crazy, just the standard hands, feet, hip, chest head)
2) I reset the character to default (t-pose) in the first keyframe and save it checking "Pose: include root" "Pose: "include bones and controls", "Pose: Include pose morphs", and "Apply pose on transition"
4) I play the anim fine. Character stays in t-pose. Switching from previous and next anim works fine as well.
5) Back on frame zero with anim stopped, I load a pose preset. Loads fine. Save pose on frame zero with same settings. I also hit "apply saved pose" just to confirm it all works.
6) As soon as I hit play (or even just select any keyframe there on frame zero) the character seems to try to revert to the t-pose that was there earlier. Same issue happens with modifying an existing anim as well sometimes where I just try to move the hands of a character (for example) who had them behind their head, saved the pose, but then it tried to put them back behind the head again when played.
The only workaround I have found is to, after loading the pose, manually select and move around all of the active controls a little (just back and forth) so that Timeline seems to register them all as keyframes or something. Note I have no keyframes in the animation other that the ones for all the target controls on frame zero. Apologies if I'm missing something obvious. Would love to just load the pose, save it and be done with it instead of doing my cumbersome workaround.
