there are three different presets I was messing around in this file.

She is not visible in the scene browser. Maybe it is because she requires Life12, but on the hub the version is Life13? Maybe you could change this dependency to "latest"?

This is an appearance preset. Select the atom you would like to put the appearance on in edit mode and then load the preset in the tab that says appearance preset.
