Can't replicate The search box in the open file dialog is hard to click

It seems to only be responsive to clicks near the bottom edge of the box. Not a new issue, it's been like this for a couple of releases, I think.

I haven't been able to replicate this. For me, the select of the search box works anywhere inside of the shown box on all the browsers.

I've moved my Custom directory away and couldn't reproduce the problem. Now that it's back, I still can't. I'll try to figure out what's going on over the next couple of days.
