The game should use the GPU for physics

Currently, the game physics are CPU-driven, so there are quite a few limitations. It would be nice if you could change the physics engine to one that uses the GPU, something like NVIDIA PysX. I have an i9-13900k and a 4090 and the GPU is barely in use during scenes and the CPU is being used to the max. In creator scenes like CGS which are quite demanding, the performance is horrible, very low FPS... So, it would be nice if the game would use the GPU for physics, thanks.

From what I understand the creators are focusing heavily on VaM 2.0 so I do not believe they will ever remove the CPU bottleneck in this version. I hear that these problems will be resolved in VaM 2.0.

Oh, great then.

The game already uses GPU shaders for collisions in some places. The underlying physics of the currently used unity version use a CPU-only fork of PhysX. When VAM gets updated to the newest unity engine, it will automaticaly support CUDA acceleration.
