Question SOLVED: Download counter on paid content

Hi community

could someone explain me how the download counter/tracker on paid content works?
there should be no file attached that could be downloaded. I understood if a staff member checked the file that you upload in the appoval progress.
I only wonder.

I think that the download tracker increments whenever someone presses the "download/go to pay site" button on the resource page.

Atani is right. One click = one download.

This is not an accurate representation of the actual downloads especially if you're pointing to a patreon post or similar.
